Düren – September 2022

KANZAN Spezialpapiere GmbH in Düren opted for the concept of Schuh Anlagentechnik GmbH as part of the capacity increase and plant expansion at the Düren site in the area of edge trim disposal.

KANZAN Spezialpapiere GmbH in Düren opted for the concept from Schuh Anlagentechnik GmbH. This decision concerns the capacity increase and plant expansion at the Düren site in the area of the edge trim disposal.

As part of the Japanese Oji Group, KANZAN is the leading European supplier of a comprehensive range of thermal papers, inkjet papers and other special products.

The new plant from Schuh Anlagentechnik GmbH includes the modernization of the material disposal on various winder machines and a newly built additional type separation on existing machines as well as the integration of the new RSM 7 winder.

Schuh Anlagentechnik's scope of supply includes the planning and delivery of the entire edge trim disposal with an explosion-proof dedusting system. The endless trims are collected in the area of the slitter, shredded in the Schuh chopper fan and fed into the material separator via air transport.
This is where the separation of process air and edge trim material takes place. The material enters the presses. The dusty exhaust air is cleaned via the explosion-proof Schuh Pulse Jet Filter.

The order includes planning, delivery, assembly and commissioning. Delivery and assembly will take place in several stages, beginning in spring 2023 and ending in summer 2023.
