New edge trim disposal from Schuh Anlagentechnik in the Tornesch plant at the Meldorf paper mill

Plant expansion after relocation of Jagenberg Varidur rewinder

The Meldorf paper mill decided for the rupture system of Schuh Anlagentechnik GmbH for the system of edge trim disposal of the Varidur rewinder. The width of edge trims is between 5 and 100 mm, the machine speed up to 1.600 m/min und the length of conveying pipe is nearby 110 m.

The edge trims are continuously extracted and crushed by the rupture fan and will conveyed in direction of the two pulper devices. A switching flap enables the variable discharge in the pulper at standstill.

The commissioning of the new line is planned for the 1st quarter of 2021.
