Novelis relocation of the shredding machines Schuh Anlagentechnik gets the contract for the Trim Extraction Plant with shredding device for aluminum foil production

As part of the Relocation of aluminum foil production from Lüdenscheid to
Plettenberg-Ohle, Novelis decided in favor of the Schuh Anlagentechnik conception of the Trimming Line for Endless Edge Trims.

In doing so, 3 new Schuh cutting and tearing fans and 1 new separator are planned and delivered on a total of 4 lines (3 shears and 1 extrusion system) and the existing equipment is integrated into the new concept.

The scope includes the delivery of the mechanical components, the electrical engineering including control, as well as the assembly and commissioning. The systems will go into operation at the beginning of the 3rd quarter of 2020.
